Raydan Manufacturing, the Edmonton, Alta-based producer of specialized suspension and coupling systems for trucks and heavy equipment has a new proprietary Air Link suspension system for tandem steer.

“The Air Link for tandem steer was released into the U.S. market last year and has resulted in tremendous growth in our tandemization division. Now Raydan has brought it to the Canadian market,” commented Ray English, president and CEO at Raydan.

“Revenues in the segment have increased by 58% over the last 3 months alone, and this growth is expected to continue as the system gains wider acceptance within the trucking and heavy truck manufacturing industry,” English said. “We are receiving a significant number of trucks from heavy truck manufacturers and their dealers, and now that Mack Trucks, Inc. offers the Air Link for tandem rear at a factory level we are also seeing trucks coming straight to us from the factory to be tandemized with the Air Link for tandem steer as well.”

In addition to the Air Link, which is the only air ride walking beam suspension available for tandem steer, Raydan also offers an engineered spring suspension. These suspensions are destined for use in the oilfield, redi-mix, waste, construction, dump and mining industries.
