DALLAS, Texas – RigMaster Power and DCL International’s latest development is manufactured with a Tier 4 compliant engine and diesel particulate filter (DPF).

The RigMaster APU 2008 model was on display at the Great American Trucking Show (GATS) in Dallas from Aug. 23 to 25.

The APU will provide the same climate control and electrical power functions as its predecessor, while being more environmentally friendly.

The DPF was designed by DCL specifically for RigMaster to lower diesel particulate matter by 90%, according to the manufacturer.

Submission for certification was presented to the California Air Resources Board last month and product will be available in time to meet 2008 requirements.
