RICHMOND, Va. – Taylor Made Environmental says its Cruisair ASSCX10 air-cooled air conditioning system has been successfully tested to military standards for vibration in a mobile environment.

The system is a 10,300 BTU self-contained unit for trucks, RVs and other vehicles. It was tested to the MIL-STD-810F standard which reflects exposures for U.S. highway truck conditions.

It is designed to be installed in the sleeper of the cab to provide air conditioning while the truck is not running.

Lou Siegel, vice-president of sales and marketing says by testing the product against stringent military standards for vibration, it validates that the unit will be able to meet the conditions encountered in a truck.
