GREEN BAY, Wis. – Schneider National Inc., a longstanding provider of transportation, logistics and related services, has been named a Sears Partner in Progress for 2004.

The annual award is presented to a select group of supplier companies that have provided Sears, Roebuck and Co. with quality products and services including marketing, transportation services and technology.

More than 10,000 sources competed for the award in 2004.

Representatives from Schneider National were honoured in April at an event hosted by Sears Holdings Corporation’s CEO Alan J. Lacy. During the ceremony, Schneider was also presented with the 2004 Quality Supplier of the Year award.

The Partners in Progress program was started more than 20 years ago to recognize suppliers that make significant contributions to the growth of Sears businesses and the creation of new ways to better serve Sears customers. The winners were selected from nominations submitted by Sears’ employees who purchase goods and services for the company.
