BURLINGTON, Ont. – Sheehan’s Truck Centre has been awarded a Gold Symbols of Excellence Award by Volvo.

The award recognizes the top Volvo truck dealer in Canada, based on scores that are compiled through the year. An outside company audits each Volvo dealership as part of the process.

“The Symbols of Excellence program is very important to the Volvo organization because it encourages excellence in product support and customer service throughout North America,” Volvo officials say. “Since the nature of the business requires that most trucks are away from their selling dealer much of the time and as a result visit Volvo dealers across the continent for product support, it is very important that customers receive a consistent level of service from every dealership they visit.

“The Symbols of Excellence program is a tool Volvo uses to accomplish this.”

Sheehan’s Truck Centre is a family-owned dealership which has been in business since 1989. It has 60 employees and is based in Burlington, Ont.
