Snowflake comes home

Avatar photo

Dear Editor,

Snowflake the Bear returned from his Canada-wide visit the last day of school. He’s not saying much, but he has pins in his lapel, and the postcards and E-mails he sent indicate he had an incredible trip. (It also looks as though he well fed.)

Snowflake traveled through all 10 provinces and numerous states. As well as being written up in your paper, he was also highlighted in our school board’s “Sharing Simcoe” and in Midland Transport’s “Highway Bulletin”. Midland Transport made sure Snowflake was returned safely.

Snowflake wishes to thank all of those who helped in his journey. It was such a success we’ll be doing it again.

Watch for more traveling bears.
