Dear Editor:

As a life-long, now retired, truck driver, I was wondering what is happening out there on our main highways?

Truckers used to be the most professional drivers. No trucker, years ago, would have ever thought of driving in the left or center lane. They always stuck it out in the most right lane and that kept traffic flowing for everyone else.

Now I see trucks all over the road, mostly left, even when the right-hand lane is totally empty.

How did those idiots ever get there licence to drive a big rig?

Are all the good drivers gone now?

If this doesn’t change soon the government will bring out a law to make them drive on the most right hand lane like they have in all of Europe and trust me, it works absolute great there.
