WILLOUGHBY, Oh. – Sterling Trucks has rolled out a factory-authorized Acterra all-wheel drive conversion for all 4×2 models.
Conversions for 6×4 trucks will be available as well, but not until later this year.
The conversion is offered with front axle ratings of 12,000, 14,000 or 16,000 lbs and comes with either a one- or two-speed transfer case.
It features a front drive carrier axle and four-shaft transfer case designed to ensure a minimal increase in vehicle height.
It also increases payload capacity by reducing weight by up to 300 pounds.
For more information about the Acterra all-wheel drive conversion, call 800-358-7624 or visit it’s Web site at www.sterlingtrucks.com. n
