Storm hits Atlantic

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – On Jan. 21, a fierce storm caused widespread flooding and damage to homes, vehicles and roadways in the Maritime provinces.

Government officials are stil assess damages to businesses, as well as bridges, roadways and wharves. Approaches to many bridges sustained significant coastal erosion, particularly the causeway in Souris and the bridge leading to Panmure Island. n
