FREDERICTON, N.B. – Sunbury Transport has announced a new tuition reimbursement program for driver training as a way to combat the current driver shortage issue.

The program is being offered exclusively in Ontario at KRTS Transportation Specialists in Caledonia, Ont.

Upon hire by the Sunbury Group, the new driver will receive a monthly tuition reimbursement and over a period of one year, the student’s tuition is paid in full.

“Sunbury is stepping up to the plate and showing their commitment to our organization and entry level drivers in Ontario.

“The people at Sunbury are a first class act, they travel to our facility once a month from New Brunswick to recruit our graduates and we’re proud to have them as one of our preferred carriers,” said Kim Richardson, KRTS president.

For more information about the program, contact Patricia O’Neil, intern program coordinator for Sunbury Transport at (800) 255-4473.
