MEBOURNE, Fla. – Terion has purchased the rights to an “acoustic volumetric sensor” that will be able to determine whether the trailers it tracks are empty or full. The technology was purchased from RandTec of Fairfax, Va.

“The ability to offer both volumetric and suspension cargo sensors with our FleetView product is just one more feature that sets us apart from the competition,” says Ken Cranston, Terion’s vice-president of sales.

Terion has a presence in Eastern Canada and is expecting to expand its service this year. For more information, see www.terion.com. n
