Thanks to my highway hero

Dear Editor,

I was in Ignace, Ont. with temperatures of -30 C on Dec. 31 when my engine suffered an airlock caused by frozen lines in my fuel tank.

So I had to start transferring fuel from the tank on the drivers’ side to the passengers’ side in a four litre container.

Around this time, Wayne Nicholls, a driver for SLH Halifax Division, stopped to lend a hand. It took us about eight hours to keep the truck running. Without his help, I would have been stuck until Jan. 2, costing me both money and downtime.

Wayne made me realize there is still at least one good samaritan left.
