These pin locks are stronger

Dear Editor,

I have read with a lot of interest Julia Kuzeljevich’s “Crime Stoppers” article (TN: May 2000).

But I would like to emphasize your section about “pin locks”. As a manufacturer of king pin locks for the past nine years, I have assisted many seminars, exhibits and conferences in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

The most effective designs are not made out of hardened steel, as mentioned in the article, but rather in a very special cast aluminum alloy called tenzaloy. This non-corrosive and light material is resistant to cutting torch, extremely resistant to hammering shock, and resistant to thermal shock such as deep freezing.
