MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Trailcon Leasing has celebrated its 10th anniversary by placing a record $15.7 million order for garbage-hauling units and dry freight vans.

The latest purchase has brought the company’s total investment in trailer and intermodal equipment to more than $100 million for the first time in its 10-year history.

Among the latest purchase are 187 new trailers, 14 garbage units and 30 dry freight vans.

“We have made a significant contribution to the economy of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA),” says Alan Boughton, president of Trailcon. “Trailcon has been an industry leader since we established the company 10 years ago.”

Currently, Trailcon boasts a fleet of more than 4,000 units. The company is a full-service lease provider of a wide range of semi-trailers and intermodal equipment. It also runs 17 full-service mobile service trucks and 10 Ministry of Transportation inspection stations in the GTA.
