Meritor WABCO Vehicle Control Systems has introduced a new InfoLink option for the Enhanced Easy-Stop Basic trailer Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The new option offers advanced anti-lock braking operations and enables the driver to monitor and control trailer functions from the tractor including trailer tank pressure, axle weight, tire pressure monitoring/inflation readings, wheel-end bearing temperatures, trailer odometer, fault codes, reefer temperatures and fuel level, and slider pin engagement status or cargo door status. East Manufacturing has made available a new sideswing tailgate ramp guide that includes a roller made from a high durability synthetic material (UHMW). This new feature prevents top pin misalignment by guiding the gate and top pin back into position during closing, making the gate much easier and faster to close. The guide ramp is constructed of aluminum with a specially designed self-lubricating UHMW roller. The guide ramp is now standard on all East dump trailer sideswing gate option packages.
