DON MILLS, Ont. – Truck trade journalism superstar Tom Berg has officially joined the ever-growing team at Truck News as the publication’s contributing technical editor.

“This is very exciting news, indeed,” says John Curran, Truck News editor. “Mr. Berg’s talent for writing about the technical side of the trucking industry meshes perfectly with our staff’s already dominant news and feature coverage.”

While attending Marquette University’s College of Journalism in the early ’60s, Berg also drove heavy delivery trucks. Later, as a U.S. Army lieutenant, he trained GIs to both drive and maintain on- and off-road cargo vehicles. Berg later worked in television news and public relations. He has written for major trucking magazines for more than 23 years. n
