TORONTO, Ont. – Truck News and Truck West staff would like to wish a fond farewell to assistant editor Katy de Vries.

Since she began with us three years ago, Katy has been a friendly and familiar face at industry events.

We wish Katy luck at her new job at Kostuch Publications, where she will be covering the food service, hospitality and hotel industry for two trade titles within the company.

“I’m excited about this next step along my career path, however, it is a bittersweet transition,” said de Vries.

“I’m going to miss my friends and colleagues in trucking tremendously.

“This industry is one filled with wonderful people delivering good messages and I would like to thank the Truck West team and the entire industry for helping me develop those messages into some great stories and for making me feel so welcome while doing so. I really enjoyed working with all of you.”

Keep an eye on future issues of Truck News and Truck West for upcoming news on Katy’s replacement.
