TWNA awards won
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Transportation Media editors walked away with six prizes at the recent Truck Writers of North America Awards. Assistant editor Adam Ledlow won a bronze award in the “Magazine Writing – Technical General” category for his feature “Cold Facts” on spec’ing refrigerated trailers. He also won a silver award in the “Magazine Writing – Feature” category for his “Trucker Buddy International Matches Tots with Truckers” story.
Managing editor Julia Kuzeljevich also pulled off two awards: A silver in the “Magazine Writing – News” category for her Motortruck feature “Strength in Numbers” about modal associations coming together to lobby Ottawa and a bronze award in the “Magazine Writing – Product Applications” category for her Motortruck feature “Adopting Automation.”
Executive editor James Menzies pulled off silver in the “Magazine Writing – News” category for his story “Bullets Fly as Port Strike Ends.”And editorial director Lou Smyrlis with technical correspondent John G. Smith pulled off a bronze award for the “Are you Secure” supplement on the new North American cargo securement regulations.
