Two Canadian Carriers Honoured at Recruitment Seminar

TORONTO, Ont. – Ray Haight, president and COO, Bill Kalbhenn, manager of safety and driver resources and Caroline Blais, recruiting officer for MacKinnon Transport were awarded the 2003 Best Retention Practices for a Canadian Carrier Award, which was presented at the first ever Canadian Recruiting and Retention Conference Oct. 1.

Nicole Couture, senior human resources consultant for CAT accepted the honourable mention award.

Three judges, Kim Richardson of KRTS, Glenn Caldwell of National Truck League and Chris Harris of Old Republic Insurance Company of Canada, assessed the applications and decided on two winners.
