ATLANTA, Ga. – Emory University School of Medicine is collecting info from long haul truckers for a study on sexual health.
The study, funded with $1.1 million from the National Institute of Health, is designed to help meet the sexual health needs of truckers and their partners.
The purpose of the research is to study their sexual behaviors in order to develop effective information on safer sex practices.
Long haul truckers are invited to participate in an online focus group discussion in a chat room environment. The discussion will be kept completely confidential and participants will remain anonymous by using chat room handles.
As a token of appreciation, participants will receive a $30 electronic gift certificate redeemable at Amazon.com.
