BARRIE, Ont. – Mid-Ontario Truck Centre in Barrie, Ont. has been named Volvo’s top Canadian dealer for 2004. The award was based on a number of factors, including new truck sales, parts sales, financial performance and customer satisfaction scores, the company reports. The awards were presented at Volvo’s North American Dealer Conference in Scottsdale, Ari.

“These dealers exemplify what Volvo strives for at all times: a premium dealership experience for customer support that goes the extra mile,” said Scott Kress, senior vice-president of sales and marketing. “A strong focus on the customer yields loyal customers and successful, profitable dealers. These Volvo dealers pay attention to details: better processes, more training, better facilities and enhanced customer support.”

Other top Volvo dealers in Canada included: Expressway Trucks of Waterloo, Ont. which was named top Volvo dealer in Canada for truck sales; and Berk’s Intertruck of Nanaimo, B.C. which was named the top Volvo Power dealer in Canada.
