SARDIS, B.C. – Drivers across Canada and the U.S. will again have the opportunity to test drive the new Volvo VN as the Drive the Future tour hits the road again this spring.

It makes its Canadian debut at the Lickman Truck Stop in Sardis, B.C. May 22-24. From there, it goes to the Roadking Truck Stop in Calgary from May 26-27. The other Canadian stop is at the 10 Acres Truck Stop in Belleville, Ont. June 12-14.

Four Volvo VNs will be part of the tour – two VN780s, a VN670 and a VN630 – and all trucks will be hitched to loaded trailers to give drivers a real feel for the engine’s performance.

“Last fall’s Drive the Future tour was so successful that we knew we had to do it again in 2003,” says Susan Alt, Volvo Trucks vice-president of marketing.

“More than 600 drivers took part in the first tour, and this time we want to give at least 1,000 drivers the chance to spread the word.”
