Allison Transmission has introduced Allison DOC for PDA (1000/2000 series), a Palm PDA-based diagnostic software application. This tool allows technicians to gather information from the transmission control system in order to conduct thorough troubleshooting. The data gathered by the Allison DOC can be transferred to a user’s PC, where it can be e-mailed, viewed or manipulated. Allison has also introduced a second version of PC-based Allison DOC For Fleets, designed for use with 1000/2000/2400 series transmissions. Hendrickson Airtek has unveiled its new PRIMAAX air suspension system, designed specifically for heavy haul and vocational trucks and tractors. PRIMAAX has been designed to reduce frame rise during peak torque, tested in applications with peak torques reaching 2,200 ft-lbs. Rogers Brother Corporation recently unveiled its redesigned tilt-deck trailer. The model TT20 features a 25-foot-6-inch full-tilt, unitized deck with an 80-inch drawbar for optimum weight transfer. A folding tapered rear ramp allows for easy loading. Also included is 35,000 lb capacity landing gear, a multi-position pintle eye with 60,000 lb tow capacity, a chain storage area, air-dried oak decking and a 4S 2M anti-lock brake system.
