Why not speed limiters for cars?

If Ontario thinks they are going to save the world by introducing speed limiters, good luck.

They should limit it at 120 km/h not 105 km/h. Have you ever driven across Canada or the United States at 105 km/h? Probably not. Do you drive your car at 105 km/h? Probably not. Why trucks? There’s more cars on the road than trucks.

Truck engines are big bore and low rpm, cars are small bore and high rpm. Who’s doing more damage?

I say if Ontario is going to enforce speed limiters, do it to automobiles as well. How do you feel about that? What about all the train engines running across North America with no emissions puking smoke? What about all the equipment in the mines in Canada running 24/7 that have no emissions? What about all the farmers with diesel equipment, fishing boats and cruise lines? And they pick on trucks. They’re blowing smoke up your wazooo and to think you believe it is shocking. I can’t see anyone in their right mind that would support this.
