Haldex names new senior vice-president of North American sales

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Truck, trailer and bus brake system manufacturer Haldex has named Walter Frankiewicz senior vice-president of sales for North America.

Frankiewicz brings 30 years of experience from the automotive and commercial vehicle industries, and previously served as president of Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake, vice-president and general manager of strategy and business planning and global chassis systems for Meritor and president and general manager of ArvinMeritor.

He also holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Ohio State University.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Walt to Haldex,” said Bo Annvik, president and CEO of Haldex. “He fully understands the challenges our customers are facing, and has the right combination of international leadership expertise and hands-on commercial experience within our industry. He will be a great addition to our group management team.”

Frankiewicz will be based out of the company’s North American headquarters in Kansas City, Mo.
