A $100,000 lottery win will help a truck driver pay off some bills, invest, and perhaps take a vacation this spring.

Saying “yes” to Encore paid off for Kenneth Wilson of Chesley, Ont. He matched the last six of seven numbers in exact order in the July 4, Lotto Max draw for the win, according to an OLG news release.

Wilson has been playing the lottery on and off for about 10 years. The father of three has won some small prizes in the past.

“I went into the gas station and checked a few tickets,” he said. “I won free plays on the first few. Then I scanned the last one and discovered it was a big win. I stood there in shock, trying to figure out if it was real. I called my partner right away, and like me, she was in disbelief.”

Once he had confirmed the win, Wilson shared the news with his co-workers and his uncle. “They were all so excited and happy,” he added.
