MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Commercial truck driver staffing firm TransForce has announced the acquisition of K.A.S. Personnel Services.

The acquisition marks TransForce’s move into the Canadian market and is its sixth purchase in the past 36 months. K.A.S. has been providing the Ontario transportation industry with drivers for nearly 30 years.

“TransForce is extremely excited about this acquisition. K.A.S. is a well-established provider of quality drivers in the Ontario market and we are very pleased to have the opportunity to offer our US-based clients additional support across the border in Canada,” said David Broome, president and CEO of TransForce.

“The KAS management team brings decades of experience in providing truck drivers and logistics personnel services. I feel that TransForce mirrors our dedication to the transportation industry and I believe by joining TransForce’s North America footprint we can offer a more complete service to our customers,” added Kirk Schizas, CEO of K.A.S. Personnel Services. TransForce will continue to operate in Ontario as KAS Staffing.
