TORONTO, Ont. — Just one week remains to register for the Truck News/Chevron charity golf tournament and earn a chance to win one of two early bird prizes of a night in a cabin at Wooden Sticks Golf Club.

There are only 13 foursomes remaining and the early bird prize draw will be held April 26. Those registering by April 25 will be automatically entered into the draw.

This year’s tourney benefits NAL Insurance’s Trucking for Wishes charity, which will help make a dream come true for a child through Make a Wish. Last year, nearly $18,000 was raised for the charity.

The tournament will be held at Wooden Sticks June 15. A full field of 144 golfers is expected. The entry fee includes all competitions, prize draws, lunch, dinner and more. A silent auction and a grand prize raffle will also be featured.

To register, contact Kathy Penner at 416-510-6892 or kpenner@trucknews.com, or Brenda Grant at 416-494-3333 or bgrant@istar.ca.
