TROY, Mich., - Tom Gosnell, president of ArvinMeritor's Commercial Vehicle Systems (CVS) business, is retiring after 27 years at the truck component and aftermarket supplier. He is being replaced Carsten J. Reinhardt, who was previously CEO and president of Detroit Diesel Corp., a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler.
Refuse truck maker dumps truck equipment unit
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Heil Environmental has sold its truck equipment business, consisting of the Heil Truck Equipment Group and Heil South distributorship, to Truck Bodies and Equipment International, Inc. a portfolio company of Kirtland Capital Partners.
Canadian hybrid developer inks marketing deal for under-hood power systems
TORONTO -- Hybrid powertrain maker Azure Dynamics of Toronto has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Kidron division of VT Specialized Vehicles Corp. for the branding, marketing and sale of Azure's Under-the-Hood system throughout the North American refrigerated truck body market.
