AFTERMARKET NOSEBOX

Phillips Industries says its roomy I-BOX, a nosebox designed to handle the expanding electronic requirements of today’s trailers first introduced in 2008, is now available in the aftermarket. It’s said to have a third more working room inside the box, which alleviates the wire pinching and pull-out that’s sometimes a problem with standard noseboxes on trailers with supplemental systems like trailer tracking and weigh systems.

It can also house Phillip’s PermaLogic controller and has enough room for flash memory to store important trailer schematics, bills of material, and other important documents and keep them dry.

Other features include: a removable lid with weather-proof gasket to protect the interior against corrosion and extreme weather; circuit breakers that can be changed in seconds; the 7-way QCS2 quick connect socket allowing for easy replacement when required.
