ALK announces launch of PC*MILER 28

PRINCETON, N.J. – ALK Technologies has announced the launch of the latest version of PC*MILER 28 software.

The software includes truck routing, mileage and mapping capabilities. The latest version will now offer new tools and enhanced functionality to provide more safety and better routing options for each customer’s specific needs.

“We’re pleased to add this new layer of improvements to empower customers to get the most out of the product that has become the industry standard they rely on,” said Dan Popkin, senior vice-president, enterprise solutions, ALK Technologies.  “PC*MILER 28 represents another leap forward in providing our customers the ability to build a custom routing solution and workflow that streamlines operations, increases productivity and meets their specific business needs.”

The new software allows users to save frequently used routing preference and provides restriction warnings in driving directions. PC*MILER 28 also features enhanced routing and map data.

The software runs on Microsoft Windows, UNIX, Linux and IBM AS/400 (iSeries) platforms. It is also available as a web-based application.
