Arrow Truck Sales announces new president and CEO

KANSAS CITY, MO. — Arrow Truck Sales named Carl Heikel as its new president and CEO, effective August 1, 2004.

Heikel succeeds Ed Justis, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests.

Heikel served most recently as managing director of Volvo Trucks de Mexico, a position he held since May 2000. He began his career with Volvo in 1976, in Volvo Construction Equipment’s parts division. Heikel has held positions over the last 28 years for Volvo Parts Corporation, Volvo del Peru, Volvo do Brasil, and Volvo Truck Corporation. Before taking his current assignment in Mexico, he spent three years as vice president in charge of used truck activity for Volvo Truck Corporation’s European Division. Heikel attended Stockholm University and Columbia University’s Executive Program in Executive Management.
