Arvin taps former Daimler Trucks exec to lead global ops
TROY, Mich. — ArvinMeritor announced today that it has appointed Craig Cartmill to the position of general manager of Operations for its Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA) business worldwide.
Craig will be responsible for leading global operations for CVA and strategic deployment of lean principles.
Prior to joining ArvinMeritor, Craig spent 27 years with Daimler Trucks North America. Most recently, he was director of Parts Distribution Operations where he managed ten parts distribution centers for Freightliner, Detroit Diesel and Mitsubishi FUSO.
Under his direction, the organization received awards for dealer satisfaction involving supply chain, as well as corporate recognition of quality systems.
Craig also served as vice president of Customer Support and Service, as well as the director of Worldwide Parts Distribution for Detroit Diesel Corporation.
