LOUISVILLE, Ky. — ArvinMeritor’s Mascot Remanufacturing has inked a major supply agreement with Navistar Parts, which will see the company provide Navistar with remanufactured transmissions and axle carriers.

Mascot, based in Mississauga, Ont. was acquired by ArvinMeritor in December, 2007. The company has six remanufacturing locations, including: three in Mississauga and one each in Edmonton, Moncton and Boucherville.

The deal with Navistar Parts is a long-term, multi-million-dollar supply agreement, ArvinMeritor officials announced at the Mid-America Trucking Show last week.

“We’re delighted to gain this reconfirmation of Navistar’s belief in our operation’s quality products,” Glenn Hanthorn, president of Mascot said in a release.
