TROY, Mich. — ArvinMeritor has announced its TRIAD trailer wheel-end system has been selected as standard equipment on Dorsey Trailer’s dry van and refrigerated trailers.

Effective immediately, ArvinMeritor will supply Dorsey, on a multi-year basis, with this wheel-end system that features new-generation, premium seals and a patented spindle nut system.

“The addition of the TRIAD system to the Dorsey product line is an important reflection of the growing partnership between our two companies,” says Bob Zirlin, director, Worldwide Marketing, Suspension Systems and Trailer Products. “The TRIAD system provides substantial benefits to our customers, and in turn, to their end-users, due to its enhanced performance and reduction in maintenance costs.”

The TRIAD system, says Chriss Street, president and CEO of Dorsey Trailer Company, with its high-performance seals, easy installation and long-life and low-maintenance features, enhances our trailers, further allowing us to meet our customer’s hauling needs.

The TRIAD system is available on TN, TQ and TP trailer axle models with both ferrous and aluminum hubs with various lubricants, including standard grease and semi-fluid grease. The component provides customers with a cost-effective option for extended performance with conventional wheel ends.
