HAGERSTOWN, Ind. — Autocar Trucks has added a new parts distribution center in Reno, Nev., according to an announcement by Chuck Kosmin, president of Autocar Parts.

"The new facility will significantly improve our ability to respond to the parts needs of the customers of our West Coast and Intermountain dealerships," said Mr. Kosmin.

When added to the growing Autocar distribution facilities in West Chicago, Ill., the new, fully-staffed parts center brings the company’s combined warehousing space to more than 145,000 square feet. In addition, the Reno facilities have been renovated to significantly increase the number of parts that can be stocked there.

Mike Mueller, an experienced warehouse distribution manager who comes to Reno from the company’s West Chicago facility, manages the Reno facility. He previously worked at Paccar Parts of Rockford, Ill.

Autocar LLC of Hagerstown, Ind., is a manufacturer and marketer of low-cab-over-engine (LCOE) class 8 trucks. The company’s products are sold into an array of heavy vocational truck markets, primarily in refuse and waste disposal. Autocar is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Grand Vehicle Works Holdings, LLC of Highland Park, Ill.

Autocar Parts, a division of Autocar LLC, is headquartered in West Chicago. Together with their Reno parts distribution center, Autocar Parts has over 145,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space to provide product support to Autocar dealers throughout North America.
