ELYRIA, Ohio — Bendix says its Bendix.biz Web site has generated more than US$1 million in sales and has enjoyed a 250% increase in unique visitors since September, when it was launched.

The password-protected site, an upgrade to the former mybendix.com, allows customers to place orders online. Customers can also check core reports and warranty claims.

“Bendix is constantly improving Bendix.biz to meet our goal of providing the best service to our customers,” said Andrew Cifranic, Bendix brand manager. “We’re using new technologies that allow us to link the product search directly with online ordering, enabling customers to directly place an order for the products they had searched for. Bendix.biz has made ordering more efficient for our aftermarket customers and these milestones are evidence of that.”

Customers who visit the site can immediately see the desired part’s availability and also identify compatible replacement parts if the part is no longer available. They can also download monthly core reports and file and view warranty claims at the site.
