ELYRIA, Ohio — Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems is adding upwards of 30 experienced engineers, information technology specialists and supply chain professionals to support its growing, global commercial vehicle braking systems business.

Company officials are planning a professional career fair on June 12 at its Elyria headquarters to help identify qualified candidates.

"We’re in a growth mode due to surging demand for a number of new and innovative Bendix technologies and increased volume in medium and heavy-duty truck builds," said Steve Melfi, talent acquisition leader.

Career fair attendees must bring a photo ID and three copies of their resume and are encouraged to pre-register online at www.bendix.com/careers. The site also contains a complete list of open positions, job descriptions and desired qualifications.

Opportunities are available in several engineering disciplines, including advanced manufacturing, design, mechanical, product and quality as well as supply chain, information technology, customer service and technician roles.

Candidates will undergo a pre-screening process where Bendix personnel will review their qualifications. Interviews with department-specific managers or directors will follow for individuals who meet requirements for a given opening.
