Benson expands into Kingston (October 05, 2006)
KINGSTON, Ont. — Benson Truck and Trailer and Benson Tire have opened up shop at 255 Binnington Court in Kingston, Ont.
The company held a grand opening yesterday to celebrate the expansion.
“The Kingston location compliments our three other Benson Truck and Trailer and 13 Benson Tire shops throughout Ontario,” announced founder, Gerry Benson. “We’re excited, and pride ourselves in being able to help truck drivers stay on the road up and down the 401 corridor with 24-hour emergency service.”
The newest addition to the Benson stable features 14 service bays, six tire repair trucks, two mobile repair trucks, a Drive Clean facility, a dedicated lube bay and an alignment bay. The shop can also perform AC repairs.
Benson says the facility caters to all fleets big or small as well as national accounts. Benson Truck and Trailer and Benson Tire are Canadian- and family-owned and have been in business for more than 50 years.
