Bison’s Boles driving record out of this world

WINNIPEG – – To the moon and back, four times. And then some.

That’s how far two million miles is and it’s how many safe miles Bison driver Ralph Boles has under this belt
He’s the third Bison Transport driver to reach the two-mill landmark. The other two were Roger Maltman and Ben Dyck.

Boles has been with Bison since 1974 and currently puts in most of his driving between Winnipeg and British Columbia.

He is also recognized as a driver advisory board member and in-cab instructor, so his skills get passed along to Bison’s next generation of drivers.

Says Garth Pitzel, Bison’s Director Safety and Driver Development:  “We congratulate Ralph on his achievement. As a professional driver and long-time friend, Ralph is a role model to all drivers. Through loyalty, hard work and a dedication to safety, he has achieved a milestone which few achieve.”
