BIT Air Scales add weigh ticket capabilities

Customers who use BIT Air Scales can now print and send scale tickets using the Blue Ink Tech app. That means drivers will know what they weigh at a shipper’s site, and also be able to email scale tickets to shippers to get loads fixed.

Shippers have historically been skeptical of pressure gauges and on-board scales because there’s no way to tell if they generate accurate weights, Blue Ink Technology says.

The app, however, uses multiple calibrations to generate a Calibration Confidence Score. Once a driver enters a few weights, and the calibrations offer a confidence of 99.4% or more, the weigh tickets can be weighed and emailed.
