NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations is rebranding its service network and standardizing the service experience across all the tire brands that fall under its umbrella.

The company announced its rebranded GCR Tires and Service division yesterday.

“GCR is respected within the industry for delivering trusted quality brands including Bridgestone, Bandag, Firestone and Dayton products, top customer service and dependable workmanship time after time,” said John Vasuta, president, GCR Tires and Service. “Keeping fleets and businesses moving is job one for our customers, and a primary focus of the entire GCR team. This rebranding reaffirms our continuing promise to always deliver best-in-class experience and outstanding service.”

Under the new brand, the company says it will standardize the service experience across all its US locations, offering the same hours of operation and technicians that are Tire Industry Association-trained. It has also launched a single Web site for all locations.

GCR stands for Balie Griffith, Harold Crawford and Perry Rose, the company’s founders. The new Web site is available at
