Canadian Daimler VP passes away

TORONTO — Brent Hart, vice-president and GM of Sterling and Western Star Trucks in Canada, lost his battle with cancer this past weekend.

He died at the age of 47.

The Oshawa, Ont. native leaves behind his loving wife Heather and his two children Alexander and Lauren.

He excelled in all his endeavours — both family and professional — at Daimler Trucks North America.

Brent graduated from GMI in 1985 with a degree in Industrial Engineering.

He was a passionate car-racing fan and he also enjoyed both snow and water-skiing.
