LAVAL, Que. – Jean-Paul Liliberte of Valcourt, Que., draws many wide-eyed looks while driving his turquoise rig with an angle motif across the U.S. Coast delivering Bombardier recreational products.

Liliberte’s truck is one of six grand prize winners in the annual Cool Rigs Calendar contest organized across North America by BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires.

Liliberte says he gets a thumbs-up from other drivers on the road.

“Some motorists even make a u-turn to get a closer look. You can bet the rig doesn’t pass unnoticed. Everywhere I go, heads turn,” says Liliberte.

The Cool Rigs contest is a way to reward the creativity, time and effort lovingly devoted to decorating heavy trucks with original artwork and design. The contest is judged by a panel of independent judges that made the selections from an initial 40 U.S. trucks, 10 from Mexico and 10 from Canada.
