SAINT-GEORGES, Que. — Manac Inc. has announced a contract of approximately $15 million with S.L.H. Transport of Kingston, Ont., to manufacture 600 pre-painted aluminum vans.

This contract is one of the largest ones received since the company was founded in 1966.

S.L.H. Transport will receive 600 fifty-three foot vans equipped with tandem air-ride axle. Deliveries are schedules to take place between May and August 2004.

Manac’s plant in St. Georges de Beauce will manufacture the contract. This order will allow Manac to increase the production level of vans at the Saint-Georges plant to full capacity during the next few weeks and will result in the rehiring of 55 employees.
