CASCADIA ROOF FAIRING
Freightliner Trucks offers a new factory-installed roof fairing as standard equipment on Cascadia Evolution 72-in. mid-roof XT models and as an option on Cascadia 72-in. mid-roof XT trucks.
Available with 12- or 20-in. side extenders, the roof fairing’s overall height is the same as the truck’s raised roof. The addition of the new fairing will provide up to a 2.8% fuel economy improvement over previous-generation models, Freightliner says.
A similarly designed 60-in. XT Roof Fairing will be available in 2014.
