Chrysler’s turns truck fleet to Bull Dog

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Chrysler Group Transport has ordered 325 MACK Pinnacle Model DayCab highway tractors for the U.S. and Canada.

The order of new, 2010 selective catalytic reduction (SCR) trucks effectively replaces Chrysler’s truck fleet.

Chrysler Group Transport uses some of its own trucks to deliver parts to auto assembly plants and parts distribution centers.

The first of the new Mack Pinnacle DayCabs have already arrived at the company’s Detroit terminal. All 325 are expected to be in service by the end of November.

Mack boasts that is the only heavy-duty truck manufacturer that builds every truck it sells in the U.S. in America.
