Clarke Inc. makes organizational changes

TORONTO, Ont. — Clarke Inc. announced the sale of Concord Transportation Inc. to ATS Andlauer Transportation Services Inc. (ATS) in return for a 30 per cent ownership in ATS.

Concord Transportation Inc. is a premier provider of expedited LTL, TL and specialized logistics services to clients across North America. In addition to their extensive Canadian network, Concord is a cross border specialist with tremendous U.S. coverage. ATS is a recognized industry leader providing a complete a range of quality transportation solutions to their customers throughout Canada.

“Concord and ATS are complementary businesses that will both benefit from the sharing of knowledge, technologies and the ability to offer their respective customers a broader range of services. We are excited about the opportunities that this new venture will provide for our people, our customers and our future at both ATS and Concord,” said Michael Andlauer, CEO of ATS.

Andlauer has been appointed to the Board of Directors as Director, effective December 12, 2003. Andlauer, CEO of ATS Andlauer Transportation Services Inc., is a recognized leader in the transportation and logistics industry with over 18 years of experience.
