AYR, Ont. — J&R Hall Transport has become one of the first Canadian fleets in Canada to take delivery of the new Kenworth T660 model.

J&R president, Jeff Hall, says the companys drivers are very enthused with the 22 new T660s theyve ordered. We need good, reliable trucks and I have that in the Kenworth T660, Hall said.

Hall has praised the T660s fuel efficiency as well as its many driver-friendly features. As an example, the fold-away armrests give the guys four extra inches to get through to the sleeper area. Its the little details that Kenworth addresses they all add up to make a better truck, Hall said.

Many of J&Rs drivers have also commented on the attention they receive at truck stops. Other truckers come up and do a walkaround they say its a very sharp looking truck, said veteran J&R Hall driver, Toby Hofer.

The chrome mirrors we have and the new hood design is smart and sharp, added Jon Seffelaar. Ive given quite a few tours of the truck and there are a lot of oohs and ahhs.
