ConMet adds TruCast brake drums to aftermarket lineup
ConMet has expanded its North American aftermarket brake portfolio with the launch of TruCast brake drums for heavy-duty truck and trailer applications.
The new lineup includes nine part numbers covering common front and rear 15- and 16.5-inch brake drum configurations. The products complement ConMet’s premium TruTurn brake drums, giving fleets an additional replacement option.
“Fleets need brake drum options that align with their specific applications, availability requirements and performance expectations,” said Jeff Larson, vice president of engineering, core products, at ConMet. “TruCast brake drums strengthen our North American brake drum portfolio by adding reliable new options backed by ConMet engineering, testing and quality standards.”
According to ConMet, the brake drums are engineered to the company’s material and quality standards and tested to meet FMVSS 121 and OEM performance requirements. They are designed for steer, drive, and trailer axle applications and are backed by ConMet’s standard warranty.
TruCast brake drums are available now through ConMet’s North American aftermarket distribution network.
